Hi, I’m Abigail, owner and baker at The Clamorous Cicada.
When I was 14 I was attempting to frost Van Gogh paintings onto cakes and deciding I wanted to be a chef.
When I was 17 I went to culinary school and fell even more in love with the artistry of baking.
I spent the next 15 years working in the food industry learning and trying to perfect desserts.
Several years ago I moved to Moscow, Idaho and made it my mission to start my own dessert business and sell at the Farmer’s Market.
I want my creations to make people genuinely happy when they taste them, while being conscious of using high quality local ingredients and supporting the community I live in.
